WALLSTREET FOREX ROBOT - "Eur33" TICK BACKTEST

The wallstreet forex robot "eur33" backtest is here. Hello, I wanted to write today about the tick data backtest for the Wallstreet Forex Robot. This backtest is for the newer "Eur33" setting. This backtest runs from 2007-2011 on the Eur/Usd pair. The risk is pretty low for this setting at 3% risk, so the overall gain is only 203% This is the same setting I run on my wallstreet account seen at the bottom of this page. I run mine at 10% risk with recovery=on because it is a small account.

WALLSTREET Eur33 BACKTEST

As we look at the monthly analytics at the bottom of the report, we see that it only had about 10 losing months over the test period. Also when it did have a losing month it was mostly less than 1% loss. I just wanted to bring this to my readers attention, because it is a quality backtest and an excellent robot.

Wallstreet Forex EA | Demo Account Alternative Pairs

Hi Guys, I just set up a demo account for the Wallstreet Forex EA. When I set it up I was trying to pick some pairs that had a better chance at banking some higher pips. So I picked the GBP/USD with the AUD/USD for starters. I also added the GBP/JPY and used the settings from the GBP/USD. Next I added the AUD/JPY and used the settings from the AUD/USD.

Before I attached them to the charts I did some quick backtesting and they looked surprisingly pretty good. Also before attaching WS I turned on the Friday filter to exit all trades before market close. This should help avoid any weekend market gaps.

Next I set this demo account to publish the results on MyFxbook. Below we can all follow its performance.

The default SL and TP are used for all pairs. I increased the Max Spread to 6.

Wallstreet Forex | New Gbp/Usd Settings

Hi Guys, Wallstreet Forex has just informed me via email that they have released a new setting for the Gbp/Usd pair. The New setting uses a tight 30 pip Stop Loss and a 90 pip TP!

"After the success of the EUR33 alternative settings, we decided to develop similar settings for the GBPUSD. The GBP30 alternative settings are already available in the "Alternative settings" section of our website.

The new GBP30 settings are very stable and secure, with Recovery Factor=26 and Profit Factor=2.1 for the last several years. For that reason, we decided to run this version together with the EUR33 version on one account (our EUR33 real money account).

Both the versions use 30-33 pips stop loss, so the "Recovery mode" option is very reasonable choice. We will run them with 7% risk (AutoMM=7) on our real EUR33&GBP30 acco
unt."

Backtesting of this new setting looks almost as good as the "Eur33" Setting that was previously released.

It would be interesting to run this new setting along with the "Eur33" setting. Although maybe without the recovery mode set to true, as this may lead to excessive DD and possibly a margin call if running with leverage of 1:50.

If anyone is running this new setting please post your experience on this blog. Thank You.

Wallstreet Forex EA | More Settings?

Good day all, Today I want to show you a quick backtest I made
This backtest is for the Aud/Usd pair and it uses the new Gbp30 settings originally for the Gbp/Usd pair.
While the DD is a little on the high side for some, I believe this is a tradable pair for these settings. I especially like it for "long": trading only as I believe the 90 pip TP could be hit a few times. The Aussie historically can breakout to the long side rendering large pip gains.

The Set file for this backtest is listed below: Note: this is using the latest version of WSFR V4.5

Max Spread=3.5
AutoMM=7
Trade Long ONLY
Recovery=True
Friday Exit=True (close 1 hour before market close to avoid weekend gaps.)
News Filter=True (Set for live trading; will not affect backtest.)
Everything else is default except expert comment.

This post is for reference only as the DD may be too much for some.

Note: most of the DD was taken around 2008 when the markets went haywire with the market crash.

Wallstreet Forex EA | Continues To Impress!

Good Day, The Wallstreet Forex EA continues to return some nice gains even through these tough market conditions. The EA currently is on a winning streak with the addition of a new version just released. This new V4.5 incorporates a news filter which can be used for high impact and medium impact news across the 3 recommended pairs. The graph below is an up-to-date representation of its performance.

With this new version 4.5, we can really fine tune exactly how and when the robot trades for us. Some of the features included are as follows:

>News Filter
>Monday start hour
>Friday exit to avoid weekend gaps
>Alternative settings for popular pairs
>Updated to current market TP and SL values via server

With this much customization it amazes me this system does not cost more than it does. Let's now take a look at the low DD settings available to users in the members area.

Good day, Apparently the folks over at Wallstreet Forex are running a quick promotion. If there were any doubts they are the developers of the Omega Trend EA, those doubts are now erased!

Here is a screenshot of what the indicator looks like;

This is not an automated signal service. This can be used as a tool for manual trading ANY instrument. My experience with these types of tools is mixed, but I do like the fact that it will work on any instrument and ANY time frame. I would recommend use on the Eur/Usd pair.

It is unclear how long this promotion will last. One thing is certain, this is a great addition to an already wonderful robot.
